Which friend or acquaintance most influenced your taste in music?

I would have to say Jonathan. He forces me to listen to things and then they grow on me.
Like:
Snow Patrol I enjoyed from the beginning but both The Postal Service and The Decemberists I really hated the singer's voice but now I really enjoy them.
